We are currently working on behalf of our client, who is in the process of strengthening their cloud security measures. We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Security Architect to design and implement security solutions that will protect the client’s cloud infrastructure.
Job Description:
As an AWS Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing security solutions for our client’s cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the IT and security teams to ensure that the cloud environment is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Designing and implementing secure AWS cloud architecture that meets the business needs and objectives.
- Developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures for the AWS environment.
- Conducting security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure.
- Developing and implementing security controls, including access control, data encryption, and monitoring.
- Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the AWS environment.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the IT and security teams on security-related issues.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and best practices in the cloud security space.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing security solutions for AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience working in the banking/financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations, including NIST, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
