Project Manager – Segregation of Duties

Position description
Within the Global IT Project Organization, a position has opened up for a project manager for the topic of Segregation of Duties. This role is considered to be a significant addition to our continuous efforts to further improve the fit-for-purpose implementation of the client’s Integrated Control Framework (ICF; which combines the frameworks of the domains of Finance, Compliance, IT and Cyber Security).
Within the client we manage our projects balancing being in control and being flexible for the sake of responding quickly to support the business with changes in their demand.
Duties
The role of Project Manager – Segregation of Duties is central to the successful, global roll-out of Segregation of Duties standards. This includes the implementation of supporting IT tooling, based on the available analysis of the current situation. The initial focus will be on a sub-set of applications in use by a number of our global branches, but the aim of the project is to be scalable enough that the approach, execution and lessons learned can be re-used in the future.
As experienced project manager you are responsible for achieving the agreed project results within timeline and budget on a global level, utilizing different governance techniques that are applicable in our multi-cultural environment. We expect you to take a hands-approach which includes, but is not limited to;
• Project establishment, development of project tollgate deliverables;
o Description of all deliverables (moving forward from 2023)
o Description of all milestones & planning
o Report and inform on set intervals
• During execution, the project shall support the global ICF project on risk assessment and risk analysis.
• During execution, the project shall enable/facilitate/monitor all relevant remediation activities in all relevant global branches. This includes implementing any necessary tooling.
• Ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the established project timeframe, guidelines/scope and budget;
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and distributed appropriately.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues/risks and devise contingency plans;
• Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations.
Writing project documents as part of our PMO process to ensure that projects are well prepared and documented to allow the Project board to take decisions based on reliable and complete information;
This role will report hierarchically to the head of PMO and functionally to the internal control manager.
Required skills and experience
In this challenging role we require:
• Prince 2 practitioner certified or experienced;
• Change management skills; be pragmatic and not bureaucratic;
• Extensive experience in (large) projects that focussed on the implementation / roll-out of IT-related applications & – processes, IT security, implementation of standardized control frameworks;
• Experience in the area of Segregation of Duties;
• Experience with IAM (processes) and supporting tooling;
• Experience with managing external tooling vendors;
• Bachelor degree; in IT or Information / Cyber Security;
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management roles;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber security project related functions;
• Experience with managing projects in a multinational environment;
• Willing to work outside of office hours due to global exposure;
• Experience in stakeholder management at different levels and an excellent communicator;
• Business-proficiency in English (spoken and written).
