We are looking for a senior architect to assist us in this endeavor. As the Lead Architect, you will join the Enterprise Architecture team and collaborate with an agile team of solution architects, product managers, and RTEs to oversee the realization of the required architectural products. You will work in conjunction with the Epic owner and have periodic coordination with the Business owner. In your approach, you will ensure buy-in from stakeholders with future IAM roles and involve them in the process.
Key responsibilities and tasks that suit your preferences:
- In the role of Lead Architect, you will develop strategic/tactical target architectures in close collaboration with the management, directors, and Epic owner.
- You will take the lead in the process of developing essential architecture products. This involves translating strategic ambitions, objectives, and plans into a target architecture while actively collaborating with enterprise and solution architects, product managers, and RTEs.
- It is crucial to gain alignment and support from both the management and employees of agile teams. You will advocate the target architecture and oversee its realization and implementation.
- You will act as a sparring partner for management and directors regarding the target architecture and roadmaps. Monitoring roadmap progress, proposing appropriate interventions for adjustments, and handling potential escalations are part of your responsibility. You will work in collaboration with the Business owner and Epic Owner within this context. Your role is essential in providing substantive guidance to the agile architecture team and ensuring adherence to architectural principles.
Job requirements: For this position, candidates with experience in business operations or research architecture are sought, particularly with the following experience:
- Experience in complex change processes involving organizational, process, and technological changes aligned with architecture.
- Proficiency in developing strategic/tactical level architectures and acting as a sparring partner for management and directors.
- A WO-level education, complemented by at least five years of relevant work experience in comparable roles.
- An education background in governance informatics, business administration, or computer science.
- Affinity with cyber security.
- Experience in Enterprise IAM environments.
- Agile work experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of theory and methodological aspects of Enterprise Architecture.
- Preferably, experience in working with and under reference architectures.
