Position: Privacy Officer
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite, South Holland)

Hours: 32–36 hours per week
Start Date: 1 October 2025
End Date: 31 March 2026 (with 2 possible 6-month extensions)
Interview Date: Week 38 or 39 (verification interviews)
Max Rate: €95/h
Role in Context
The ambition is to reach maturity level 3 (CIP) by 31 December 2026, and to achieve this, temporary reinforcement is needed.
As Privacy Officer, you will:

Support the organization in complying with GDPR and related legislation.

Translate strategic privacy objectives into tactical and operational measures.

Develop procedures, policies, and clear guidelines for colleagues.

Raise awareness of privacy within the organization.
Tasks include:

Identifying and advising on privacy risks, developments, and needs.

Supporting DPIAs, data breaches, and data subject rights requests.
-
Drafting and improving privacy-related processes.
-
Maintaining the processing register and processor agreements.
-
Raising awareness through training and presentations.
This is a proactive, visible role requiring legal knowledge combined with practical advisory skills.
Knock-Out Criteria (must be visible in CV)

HBO/WO degree (legal or other relevant education).

Minimum 3 years demonstrable work experience as Privacy Officer or comparable role (within past 6 years).

Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR and related privacy/data protection regulations, with proven application in practice.

Willingness and ability to provide a VOGnp (Certificate of Good Conduct) within 4 weeks post-award.
