Role in Context

A public sector organization in the eastern Netherlands is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer (ISO) to temporarily strengthen digital resilience, improve information security policy, and further develop the ISMS in line with NEN7510.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and embedding information security policies.

• Strengthening the ISMS and implementing improvements.

• Translating legislation and regulations into practical measures.

• Advising management and stakeholders on compliance and security risks.

Knock-Out Criteria (must be visible in CV)

• Completed HBO/WO degree

• 5+ years demonstrable experience in information security (within last 10 years)

• 3+ years demonstrable experience as an ISO auditor (within last 10 years)

• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft cloud environments (M365, Azure, Intune, related platforms)

• Meets the stated implementation condition as per tender requirements

Award Criteria (100 pts total)

• Completed HBO/WO education in ICT or Information Security (20 pts)

• Demonstrable experience in the last 5 years as ISO auditor at a government institution (35 pts)

• Experience with vulnerability scanning & monitoring tools (15 pts)

• Knowledge of BIO, NEN7510, NIS2 (15 pts)

• Certifications in information security (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, etc.) (15 pts)
