Assignment Description
As an IT Infrastructure Architect / Cybersecurity Specialist, you will design and deliver IT infrastructure for customer systems — from sales to service handover. You will analyze customer requirements and international cybersecurity regulations, translating these into secure IT designs.
You will collaborate with global teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet both technical and regulatory demands, supporting critical logistics and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis and translate these into IT infrastructure and network designs.
- Design secure server/client architectures (Windows/Linux) with virtualization and containerization.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards such as NIS2, NIST, IEC 62443, Cyber Resilience Act.
- Implement secure remote access, OS hardening, virtualization, and networking.
- Coordinate infrastructure changes in line with project needs.
- Support projects during execution and advise on IT infrastructure.
- Provide expertise to sales teams during the offering phase.
- Learn products and processes, provide customer feedback, and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate in Agile teams across international projects.
- Occasional international travel (approx. 5%).
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in industrial IT infrastructure implementations.
- Proven expertise in designing complex server/client environments (Windows/Linux, virtualization, containerization).
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity standards/regulations: NIS2, NIST, IEC 62443, Cyber Resilience Act.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Availability: 40 hours per week.
- Freelance only (ZZP).
Nice-to-Haves
- Knowledge of airport baggage handling or similar critical systems.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, CNAP).
- Familiarity with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Hardware expertise: HPE, Fortinet, Cisco.
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Positive, proactive, hands-on mindset.
