You work across multiple domains: governance frameworks, incident response, threat intelligence, and compliance. Your counsel shapes how the organisation responds to emerging threats and regulatory change.
Your impact spans strategic planning, vendor evaluation, security culture, and measurable risk reduction. You're a trusted advisor who bridges the gap between technical teams and executive leadership.
Jouw werkzaamheden
- Design security strategies aligned with business goals and risk appetite
- Assess current security posture and develop multi-year roadmaps for improvement
- Lead threat assessments, gap analyses, and security architecture reviews
- Advise on incident response, business continuity, and crisis management planning
- Evaluate and recommend security tools, platforms, and vendors
- Guide governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, NIST)
- Mentor security teams and drive security culture across the organisation
- Report security metrics and risk status to board and executive teams

Must-haves
- 10+ years cyber security experience with 5+ years in senior/advisory roles
- Proven experience developing security strategies and roadmaps
- Deep knowledge of governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Track record advising C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, threat intelligence, and incident response
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with security transformation in large or complex organisations
- Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, or GRC platforms
- Background in financial services, energy, healthcare, or critical infrastructure
