Compliance & Integrity Advisor
About the assignment
The client faces increasing regulatory complexity across multiple jurisdictions and internal compliance demands. You are responsible for embedding a robust compliance and integrity framework that protects the organisation while enabling business growth.
You will assess current state, identify gaps, and implement controls aligned with GDPR, NIS2, DORA, and industry-specific regulations. Your work directly influences board-level risk reporting and stakeholder trust.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify regulatory gaps
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on business operations
- Support internal audits and external compliance inspections
- Design and deliver compliance awareness training programmes
- Coordinate incident response and reporting for compliance violations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external regulators
- Maintain compliance dashboards and KPIs for executive reporting

Must-haves
- 5+ years compliance, audit, or risk management experience
- Proven knowledge of GDPR, NIS2, and financial/sector regulations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with compliance management platforms or GRC tools
- Dutch fluency (written and spoken)
Nice-to-haves
- Background in financial services, energy, or healthcare sector
- Experience designing compliance automation
- CISA, CRISC, or equivalent certification
