MVPeople Group is the leading cybersecurity recruitment and staffing firm in the Netherlands. Founded in 2022 by Mathijs Visser and Floris Akkerhuis, MVPeople is the only recruitment agency in the Netherlands exclusively focused on cybersecurity, privacy, IAM and IT-risk professionals.

MVPeople Group was founded in 2022 by two entrepreneurs with a shared vision: doing cybersecurity recruitment differently and better.
Mathijs Visser
Co-Founder
Mathijs combines his background in business administration with a passion for cybersecurity. After years of experience in the recruitment industry, he identified the growing gap between demand and supply of cybersecurity talent. In 2022, together with Floris, he founded MVPeople Group to bridge that gap. Mathijs is responsible for commercial strategy, client relationships and the day-to-day management of the team. His data-driven approach and sporting mentality form the core of the company culture.
Floris Akkerhuis
Co-Founder
Floris brings in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity labour market, built up over years as a recruiter and consultant in the IT security sector. His expertise lies in building sustainable relationships with both professionals and clients. At MVPeople Group, Floris is responsible for operational excellence, the candidate experience programme and safeguarding the quality standards that set MVPeople apart from the competition.
