Mathijs Visser
Founder & Lead Consultant
Mathijs had one goal since he was 16: build his own recruitment business and leave a lasting legacy. Fast forward two decades, 16+ years of experience, and one company later — mission in progress. He compares running his recruitment desk to running a marathon: it takes the same dedication, grit, and willingness to keep going when it gets hard. Before founding MVPeople in 2022, he spent years placing IT and change management professionals at enterprise level across the Netherlands, and even earlier than that, he was on the floor of some of Amsterdam’s biggest data centers — managing security teams and learning the industry from the ground up. His philosophy: treat every candidate like a sports agent treats their star athlete. Their interests come first, always.
Floris Akkerhuis
Co-Founder & Lead Consultant
Floris started his career in hospitality — and if you’ve ever worked in a good hotel, you know that’s where you learn what real service actually looks like. That mindset never left him. He moved into recruitment and spent over a decade building and leading specialist IT recruitment teams, managing groups of up to 22 consultants and running P&L across multiple brands. In 2023 he co-founded MVPeople with Mathijs, and in 2025 launched MVProfessionals — the secondment arm of the group. Fast when it matters. Never rushed when it doesn’t.

Harry Vidler
Principal Consultant, Perm Lead
Harry builds and leads our permanent recruitment practice. A Biomedical Sciences graduate who specialised in executive cybersecurity search, placing C-Suite security leaders across the US, UK and Europe. His approach is methodical and relationship-driven: the best candidates aren’t looking, and reaching them requires genuine network depth.
Marcos Sanches
Recruitment Consultant, Privacy & Cyber
Marcos specialises in Privacy and Cybersecurity interim placements across the Benelux. Multilingual, culturally fluent (Dutch, English, Portuguese and Spanish) and personally warm in every conversation. He treats every candidate like a sports agent would treat a top athlete.
Viviana Vahl
Recruitment Consultant, Cybersecurity
Viviana has a Master’s in Public Administration from Leiden University. Before joining MVPeople she managed enterprise customer success at a high-growth data intelligence platform. She brings intellectual curiosity and genuine strategic thinking to every search she runs.
Burcu Yasa
Recruitment Consultant, Interim Cyber
Burcu has worked in digital marketing, e-commerce operations across Europe, and renewable energy recruitment. She focuses exclusively on interim cybersecurity and privacy placements. People-first in her approach, precise in her execution.
Milan Zeedijk
Delivery Consultant, Cybersecurity
Before recruitment Milan was a chef, trained at one of Amsterdam’s most respected hotel kitchens. He brings that same precision and composure to delivery recruitment across the Benelux cybersecurity market: finding the right people, moving fast, nothing falls through the cracks.
