About the assignment
You manage end-to-end IAM transformation projects, from planning through deployment to handover. You coordinate cross-functional teams—security architects, engineers, business stakeholders—to deliver identity governance solutions on time and within scope.
Your focus is ensuring successful adoption of IAM platforms, managing risks, removing blockers, and keeping all parties aligned. You translate technical complexity into clear communication for both technical teams and business leadership.
Your responsibilities
- Plan, scope and schedule IAM implementation projects using structured methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
- Lead kickoff meetings, define project milestones, and track progress against KPIs and timelines
- Coordinate between security teams, IT operations, application owners and business units to resolve conflicts and dependencies
- Monitor budget, resource allocation and procurement of IAM tools (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, ForgeRock)
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies and manage change resistance
- Document requirements, design decisions and project outcomes for compliance and knowledge transfer
- Facilitate testing phases and manage cutover activities to minimise disruption
- Report status, escalate issues and present results to steering committees and executive stakeholders

Must-haves
- 5+ years of IT/security project management experience
- Proven track record delivering IAM or identity governance projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID)
- Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
Nice-to-haves
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Knowledge of RBAC, ABAC and JML lifecycle processes
- Experience managing large-scale transformation programmes (€500k+)
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)
