About the assignment
A leading Dutch consultancy is expanding its IAM practice and seeks an experienced consultant to take ownership of client engagements. You'll work across identity and access management implementations, from requirements gathering through deployment and optimization.
You'll partner with enterprise clients to solve complex identity challenges: access governance, role-based access control, multi-cloud identity strategy, and compliance-driven IAM architecture. Your experience positions you as a trusted advisor who bridges business needs and technical solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Design IAM architectures and access governance models for enterprise clients
- Lead implementation projects across SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID platforms
- Conduct identity assessments and recommend optimization strategies
- Develop role models and access policies aligned with client compliance requirements
- Manage stakeholder communication and document technical specifications
- Guide junior consultants and review their work on assigned projects
- Support sales teams with technical proposals and proof-of-concept scoping

Must-haves
- 5+ years of hands-on IAM implementation experience
- Proven expertise with at least two major IAM platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID)
- Strong understanding of access governance, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle management
- Experience designing solutions for enterprise compliance requirements (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with multi-cloud identity strategies or hybrid IAM environments
- Background in security consulting or presales
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
