About the assignment
A leading organisation in critical infrastructure is strengthening its operational technology security posture. You advise on securing SCADA, PLC, and industrial control systems against evolving threats.
You combine deep OT knowledge with modern cybersecurity practices. Your role balances security hardening with operational continuity—downtime is not an option.
Your responsibilities
- Assess OT/ICS environments for vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
- Design segmentation and network architectures for industrial systems
- Develop security policies tailored to OT constraints and safety requirements
- Guide incident response planning specific to critical infrastructure
- Recommend and evaluate OT-focused security tools and monitoring solutions
- Support security awareness training for OT operations teams
- Conduct risk assessments aligned with ISO 27001 and sector regulations

Must-haves
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years focused on OT/ICS environments

- Strong communication skills for cross-functional OT and IT teams
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet)
- Knowledge of energy, manufacturing, or water sector security standards
- Experience with ICS security tools and monitoring platforms
