About the assignment
A major organisation is expanding its privacy function to strengthen data protection governance and regulatory compliance. You'll report to senior leadership and own the full privacy lifecycle—from policy design to incident response.
You transform privacy from a checkbox into a strategic advantage. You'll partner with business units, technology teams, and external stakeholders to embed privacy into every decision. Your impact ranges from protecting customer data to enabling innovation within legal boundaries.

- Develop and maintain privacy policies, processes, and documentation aligned with GDPR, AI Act, and sector-specific regulations
- Lead data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and privacy reviews for new projects, systems, and third-party integrations
- Manage privacy incident response, breach notifications, and regulatory reporting to supervisory authorities
- Conduct privacy audits and monitor compliance across departments, identifying and remediating gaps
- Advise business and technology teams on lawful bases, data minimisation, consent, and international data transfers
- Manage relationships with Data Protection Authorities and respond to regulatory inquiries and complaints
- Train employees and stakeholders on privacy obligations and build a privacy-aware organisational culture
- Stay current with evolving regulations (NIS2, DORA, ePrivacy, AI governance) and adapt practices accordingly
