Project Manager OT Security & Infrastructure
About the assignment
A leading organisation in energy infrastructure is strengthening its Cyber Defense Center. You manage complex OT projects that directly enhance the organisation's cyber resilience. You orchestrate technical requirements, vendor selection, pilots, and large-scale rollouts while ensuring NIS2 and IEC 62443 compliance.
You work across OT engineers, security specialists, operations, procurement, and management. Your role balances technical depth with stakeholder coordination—translating security requirements into executable project plans, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring seamless handover to operations teams.
Your responsibilities
- Lead complex OT-security projects from initiation through implementation, managing scope, timeline, and budget
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, coordinate technical requirements, and track deliverables against milestones
- Conduct vendor selection (RFI/RFP) and manage supplier relationships through contract execution and quality assurance
- Organize and facilitate pilots, test phases, acceptance criteria, and large-scale deployment logistics
- Ensure compliance with NIS2, IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and internal security policies throughout project lifecycle
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (OT engineers, security, operations, procurement) and escalate risks and dependencies
- Execute risk analyses in OT environments and develop mitigation strategies for technical and organisational issues
- Report progress, risks, blockers, and key decisions to management; facilitate handover to operations and maintenance teams
