About the assignment
A major organization is strengthening its identity and access management infrastructure. You'll own the architecture, deployment, and optimization of IAM platforms that serve thousands of users across multiple business units.
You solve real-world access challenges: integrating legacy systems, automating joiner-mover-leaver workflows, and enforcing least-privilege principles. Your work directly reduces security risk and improves operational efficiency.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement IAM solutions using industry-standard platforms
- Manage user identity lifecycles from onboarding through offboarding
- Configure role-based and attribute-based access control policies
- Integrate IAM systems with applications, cloud environments, and HR systems
- Monitor access logs and investigate identity-related security events
- Document IAM architecture, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with security and business teams to refine access requirements
- Maintain system performance, security patches, and platform upgrades

Must-haves
- 7+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience
- Deep expertise in NetIQ, SailPoint, or comparable identity platforms
- Proven experience with user lifecycle management and access provisioning
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and identity standards
- Experience integrating IAM systems with enterprise applications
Nice-to-haves
- Background in PAM (Privileged Access Management)
- Cloud IAM experience (Azure Entra ID, AWS)
- CISSP or CISM certification
