About the assignment
A leading organisation in the public sector needs an IAM Solution Architect to bridge strategy and implementation. You'll conduct solution assessments for critical work packages, identifying control gaps and designing audit-proof IAM architectures.
Your focus: Entra ID and SailPoint ISC in complex, regulated environments. You validate solutions against reference architectures, ensure operational evidence (logs, audit trails, reports), and align technical designs with business requirements.
This is a 16-hour per week engagement from April to June 2026, based in Arnhem. You work independently but collaborate closely with enterprise architecture, security, and process teams.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct solution assessments identifying application platforms, requirements, control gaps, and desired state architectures
- Design identity lifecycles, provisioning/deprovisioning workflows, role models, and access governance structures
- Evaluate Entra ID and SailPoint ISC standard functionality against custom solution requirements
- Define and validate operational evidence including logs, reports, workflow registrations, and audit trails
- Align solution designs with enterprise architecture, security policies, and platform standards
- Translate complex compliance requirements into concrete, implementable IAM controls

Must-haves
- Proven IAM Solution Architect experience in complex enterprise environments
- Deep expertise with Entra ID and SailPoint Identity Governance & Cloud
- Knowledge of provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC/ABAC, and identity lifecycle management
- Experience in regulated/audit-heavy environments with compliance requirements
- Strong analytical thinking, end-to-end process insight, and ability to translate requirements into standard solutions
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other identity platforms or integrations
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks
- Track record delivering audit-proof IAM controls in public sector organisations
