Team Lead Identity & Access Management
About the assignment
A leading organisation is transforming its identity and access management function with AI-powered automation. You lead a talented team delivering SailPoint and CyberArk implementations, managing the full identity lifecycle, and architecting next-generation access controls.
Your challenge: scale IAM capabilities while integrating AI for anomaly detection, risk-based authentication, and just-in-time access provisioning. You balance strategic vision with hands-on technical oversight, mentoring architects while reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 IAM engineers and architects
- Design and oversee identity lifecycle management (JML) processes across enterprise systems
- Implement AI-driven access governance using SailPoint and CyberArk capabilities
- Develop IAM strategy aligned with zero-trust architecture and regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and roadmap priorities
- Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and compliance audits (ISO 27001, SOX)
- Drive adoption of RBAC/ABAC frameworks and identity federation standards

Must-haves
- 7+ years IAM experience, including 3+ in a leadership or senior architecture role
- Deep hands-on knowledge of SailPoint and/or CyberArk implementations
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, RBAC/ABAC, and federation protocols
- Proven ability to mentor technical teams and manage stakeholders at C-level
- Experience designing IAM solutions for regulated industries (banking, government, healthcare)
Nice-to-haves
- Background in AI/machine learning applications for security and anomaly detection
- Track record with zero-trust architecture rollouts
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta)
