This model fits when you need specific expertise quickly for a defined period. You pay an hourly or daily rate, with no long-term commitments. Our contracts are set up to comply with the Dutch rules on self-employment (Wet DBA) and we take the administration off your hands. That matters: since 1 January 2025 the Netherlands has fully enforced the rules on false self-employment again. Think of bridging a vacancy, running a security assessment or getting help during an incident.
2. MVProfessionals: secondment and temp-to-perm
Not every staffing need is short term. For engagements of six months or longer there is MVProfessionals. Our professionals are seconded to your organisation as a full part of your team, but remain employed by MVPeople Group. That means lower employer costs for you, ongoing HR support for the professional and the option to move to permanent employment after 6 to 12 months.
Secondment suits organisations that want to build their security team but are not yet ready to hire permanent staff straight away. You can try the working relationship first before committing for longer. We support the professional, including performance reviews, development plans and help with certification.
3. MVPermanent: permanent recruitment
If you are looking for a permanent hire for your cybersecurity team, there is MVPermanent. We run executive search for senior cybersecurity roles, from CISO to security architect and from DPO to SOC manager.
MVPermanent works on a contingency basis (no cure no pay, 25% fee) or a retained search basis (30% fee). Every placement comes with a 3-month guarantee period. Besides advertising vacancies, we actively approach professionals in our network who are not looking, but are open to the right move.
4. MVPartners: consultancy partnerships
Sometimes an assignment needs more capacity than one professional can provide. MVPartners is our partner network of boutique cybersecurity consultancies. 5. MVPrentice: young professionals
You do not solve the shortage of security people only by spreading experienced professionals around. You also have to train the next generation. MVPrentice is our traineeship and starter platform for young cybersecurity talent. We select young professionals and support them with certification tracks (ISACA, ISC2), coaching by senior MVPeople consultants and hands-on experience with enterprise clients.
