About the assignment
You advise leading organisations on defending against advanced threats and securing critical infrastructure. You bridge the gap between technical implementation and strategic security decisions, working with C-level stakeholders and technical teams.
Your impact is measurable: you shape security roadmaps, identify risk gaps, and recommend solutions that genuinely reduce attack surface. You grow your advisory skills while staying hands-on with emerging threats and defensive technologies.
Your responsibilities
- Assess security posture across client infrastructure using industry frameworks and threat intelligence
- Design and recommend security controls aligned with business risk and compliance requirements
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to C-level and board stakeholders
- Conduct threat modelling and attack surface analysis for critical systems and applications
- Develop security roadmaps that balance technical depth with business priorities
- Guide incident response and forensics when advanced threats are detected
- Stay current with threat landscape and advise on emerging attack vectors and defences

Must-haves
- 5+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience (SOC, infrastructure, application security, or pentesting)
- Strong understanding of attack vectors, threat actors, and defensive controls
- Experience translating technical findings into business-focused recommendations
- Ability to work with C-level stakeholders and communicate complex topics clearly
- Knowledge of risk frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance landscapes
Nice-to-haves
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Experience with cloud security assessments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Incident response or forensics background
- Track record advising enterprise clients on security strategy
