ForgeRock & Ping Identity Specialist
About the assignment
A leading organisation is modernising its identity and access management infrastructure. You'll architect, implement, and optimise ForgeRock and Ping Identity platforms to support secure, scalable authentication and authorisation across multiple business units.
You'll work on complex identity challenges: federated authentication, passwordless solutions, API protection, and compliance-driven access policies. Your expertise directly impacts how the organisation manages digital identity at scale.
Your responsibilities
- Design and deploy ForgeRock Access Manager and Identity Cloud solutions for enterprise environments
- Configure Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingOne) for OAuth2, SAML, and OIDC implementations
- Build and maintain custom authentication flows using ForgeRock's decision trees and Ping IDPs
- Integrate identity platforms with legacy systems, cloud applications, and modern SaaS solutions
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and JML workflows using IGA components
- Monitor identity infrastructure performance, troubleshoot authentication failures, and optimise response times
- Document architecture decisions, maintain runbooks, and support security audits and compliance requirements

Must-haves
- Hands-on experience with ForgeRock Access Manager or Ping Identity (PingFederate/PingOne) in production environments
- Strong knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID Connect protocols
- Experience integrating identity platforms with enterprise applications and legacy systems
- Understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and identity governance principles
- Proven troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with both ForgeRock and Ping Identity platforms
- Familiarity with passwordless authentication and adaptive MFA
- Knowledge of Entra ID or other cloud-native identity solutions
- Background in security architecture or identity governance (IGA)
