IAM QA Specialist
About the assignment
A leading organisation in digitale-infrastructuur is strengthening its IAM quality assurance function. You validate identity governance workflows, access provisioning logic, and authentication mechanisms across enterprise platforms.
Your role bridges technical QA and security. You identify gaps in JML lifecycle automation, RBAC/ABAC rule implementation, and integration points before they impact production. Your testing prevents access control failures, certification bottlenecks, and compliance violations.
You'll work with IAM architects and security teams to define test cases, execute regression testing, and document findings. This role directly protects the organisation's access control posture.
Your responsibilities
- Design test plans for IAM workflows covering provisioning, authentication, authorization, and deprovisioning
- Execute functional testing on SailPoint, CyberArk, or Okta configurations to validate RBAC and ABAC rule enforcement
- Conduct regression testing after system updates or policy changes to ensure access control integrity
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps and security impact assessment
- Collaborate with IAM architects to translate business requirements into testable acceptance criteria
- Validate identity certification and access review workflows for compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST standards
- Test API integrations and SSO flows across enterprise applications
- Participate in security code reviews and penetration testing feedback for IAM components
