OutSystems Developer – Integration & Leadership
About the assignment
A leading government organisation manages complex, politically sensitive programmes with temporary mandates. You'll work on restoration initiatives, process automation, and innovative solutions including AI-driven approaches.
You contribute to multiple programmes spanning financial remediation, digital damage routes, and fiscal transparency. The focus is on building integrated portals, managing end-to-end production chains, and continuously improving delivery across departments.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop applications in OutSystems, managing integrations with external systems, databases, and services
- Establish integration architecture, configure data flows, and ensure system reliability across complex programme environments
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and code review oversight
- Advise on data alignment with operational processes; troubleshoot integration issues
- Collaborate across departments to coordinate production delivery and align stakeholder requirements
- Support continuous improvement of applications and infrastructure in agile sprint cycles

Must-haves
- Proven OutSystems development experience with integration expertise
- Experience managing integrations between OutSystems and external applications, databases, services
- Track record leading and mentoring junior developers
- IT infrastructure and data integration knowledge
- Fluent Dutch (spoken and written); CV in Dutch required
- University-level thinking demonstrated by HBO/WO degree or 5+ years equivalent experience
Nice-to-haves
- OutSystems certification
- Experience in complex government programme environments (1+ year)
- Political/governance sensitivity and stakeholder management
