Security & Privacy Coördinator
About the assignment
A leading organisation in the energy sector is strengthening its approach to data protection and information security during a critical energy transition. Data flows, supply chain partnerships, and operational risks are increasing rapidly.
You'll bridge the gap between regulatory requirements (GDPR, NIS2, ISO 27001) and practical implementation. You identify security and privacy risks, advise on new partnerships and projects, and ensure the organisation can demonstrate compliance. You work across teams to embed controls into daily operations—not just policy documents.
Your responsibilities
- Identify and escalate privacy and information security risks; coordinate remediation actions across teams
- Assess privacy and security impact for new partnerships, projects, and operational processes
- Maintain and analyse the data processing register; investigate incidents and data breaches
- Coordinate audits, ISMS certifications, and updates to security policies and documentation
- Collaborate with team leads, security officers, and specialists to embed security measures into practice
- Advise leadership on compliance status and emerging regulatory changes affecting operations
