Senior IAM Business Consultant
About the assignment
You join the MIAMI programme at a leading organisation in the public sector, driving a critical transformation towards fine-grained, dynamic access management across their application landscape.
Your role bridges IAM strategy and operational business needs. You analyse complex processes, design modern access control models based on PBAC principles, and ensure the entire organisation understands and implements the new IAM framework.
You own the full lifecycle: from strategy translation and migration planning through process redesign, training delivery, and change management across all organisational levels.
Your responsibilities
- Translate IAM strategy and policy into actionable business requirements across all organisational levels
- Design and implement modern IAM processes using Policy Based Access Control (PBAC) principles
- Conduct comprehensive process inventories, gap analyses, and recommend redesigns for the target operating model
- Develop and deliver workshops, training programmes, and user documentation to drive adoption
- Create detailed migration plans and oversee their execution across the enterprise
- Communicate IAM changes, risks, and benefits proactively to stakeholders and leadership
- Guide and assure the successful transition from legacy to new IAM infrastructure

Must-haves
- Minimum 3 years proven IAM consultancy experience (last 5 years)
- Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and managing IAM processes at scale
- Proven ability to develop and deliver workshops and training programmes
- Experience with IAM in large, complex government or regulated organisations
- Expertise creating and executing migration plans
- Fluent Dutch and excellent written and verbal communication
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with Policy Based Access Control (PBAC) implementations
- Background with government or public sector transformations
- Familiarity with IAM legislation and compliance frameworks
