Senior IAM Engineer – Control Automation & DevOps
About the assignment
You join the IAM Tribe as a Senior Engineer focused on control automation and service remediation. Your mission: transform reactive IAM support into predictable, compliant, and scalable delivery of Identity Governance & Administration services.
You work with One Identity in a complex, regulated banking environment. You'll remediate existing configurations, automate manual control activities, and embed sustainable engineering patterns that improve evidencing, monitoring, and audit readiness.
This role bridges engineering depth with control maturity. You translate findings from compliance teams and business analysts into technical solutions that strengthen both IAM functionality and control design.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement structural improvements in One Identity services to remediate control deficiencies and increase IAM control effectiveness
- Automate manual service and control-related activities to reduce effort, improve consistency, and increase traceability
- Translate control findings, operational issues, and technical risks into sustainable engineering improvements and backlog-ready solutions
- Improve evidencing, monitoring, and technical substantiation for IAM services in scope of control execution and audit
- Develop scalable and reusable engineering patterns within the One Identity landscape that the squad can embed and maintain
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and fellow engineers to ensure findings become actionable technical work
- Challenge current processes and manual workarounds to drive continuous improvement in robustness, scalability, and control design

Must-haves
- Deep hands-on experience with One Identity platform and IGA services
- Strong DevOps engineering background with proven ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions
- Demonstrated experience remediating IAM services and improving control effectiveness in regulated environments
- Clear understanding of identity governance, RBAC/ABAC, and access control design
- Fluent in English and Dutch (working language requirement)
- Track record of translating compliance findings into technical engineering improvements
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other IAM platforms (CyberArk, Okta, SailPoint, ForgeRock)
- Familiarity with banking or financial services compliance requirements
- Background in automation frameworks and scripting for IAM processes
- Agile/Scrum experience in cross-functional squads
