Senior Program Coordinator GRC Implementation
About the assignment
A leading organisation in the public sector is undertaking a strategic GRC transformation. You operate as the central navigator—owning programme-level planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication and quality assurance. Your role bridges strategy and execution, keeping all parties aligned and delivering measurable compliance outcomes.
You work at the intersection of governance frameworks, operational delivery and strategic change. This is a hands-on leadership position where structured thinking, communication discipline and programme rigour directly impact organisational capability.
Your responsibilities
- Define and maintain programme roadmap, milestones and dependencies across GRC workstreams
- Identify, track and escalate programme-level risks with mitigation strategies
- Coordinate stakeholder communication, reporting and governance forums
- Monitor programme quality, resource allocation and budget adherence
- Drive change management activities to ensure adoption across the organisation
- Manage scope, schedule and resource trade-offs with executive sponsors
- Document programme artefacts: charters, plans, status reports, lessons learned

Must-haves
- 8+ years programme or project management experience, preferably in GRC or compliance transformations
- Proven ability to manage multi-workstream programmes with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong command of governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2, DORA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Dutch
- Structured approach to risk management, scope control and stakeholder alignment
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC or Archer platforms
- Background in public sector compliance transformations
- Certification in CISA, CRISC or PRINCE2
