Senior Technical IAM Engineer
About the assignment
A major organisation is strengthening its identity and access management infrastructure to support digital transformation and regulatory compliance. You'll architect IAM solutions that balance security with operational efficiency, managing everything from user provisioning to privileged access governance.
You work with enterprise platforms like SailPoint, CyberArk, and Okta, designing RBAC and ABAC models that scale across hundreds of applications. Your role bridges security, infrastructure, and business teams—translating access requirements into secure, automated processes.
Your responsibilities
- Design and deploy IAM architectures (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID) for large-scale enterprises
- Engineer identity lifecycle management (JML) workflows and automate provisioning/deprovisioning processes
- Implement role-based (RBAC) and attribute-based (ABAC) access control models
- Manage privileged access governance, including PAM strategy and implementation
- Conduct IAM security audits and remediate identity-related risks
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams on access requirements
- Document IAM standards, governance policies, and technical designs

Must-haves
- 8+ years hands-on experience with IAM platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID)
- Deep expertise in identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and ABAC design
- Strong technical foundation in directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and SSO/MFA
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale IAM programs
- Excellent stakeholder communication across security, IT, and business teams
Nice-to-haves
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Experience with privileged access management (PAM) beyond CyberArk
- Knowledge of cloud-native IAM and identity federations
