About the assignment
A leading organisation is transforming its identity and access management infrastructure to support digital growth and security compliance. You architect enterprise-wide IAM solutions that balance security, user experience, and operational efficiency.
You own the technical vision for authentication, authorisation, and identity governance across cloud and on-premises environments. Your designs directly impact how thousands of users securely access critical systems while meeting regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Design enterprise IAM architecture covering authentication, SSO, MFA, and access governance
- Lead selection and implementation of IAM platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, or ForgeRock)
- Develop identity lifecycle management (JML) processes and RBAC/ABAC models
- Create IAM security standards and govern vendor integrations
- Mentor security and infrastructure teams on IAM best practices
- Align IAM roadmap with business strategy, compliance mandates, and emerging threats
- Conduct IAM risk assessments and drive remediation initiatives

Certifications (preferred)
Must-haves
- 8+ years in IAM architecture, design, or senior engineering roles
- Deep hands-on expertise with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, or ForgeRock)
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and identity lifecycle management
- Proven ability to design and govern enterprise-scale access control solutions
- Excellent communication skills: translate security concepts for business and technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture and modern authentication protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth)
- Track record of leading large-scale IAM migrations or platform consolidations
- CISSP or CISM certification
