IAM Engineer
About the assignment
Identity and access management is your domain. You build and optimize IAM solutions that balance security with user experience, ensuring only the right people access the right resources at the right time.
You work with modern IAM platforms to implement role-based and attribute-based access controls. Your decisions shape how thousands of users authenticate, and how the organisation stays compliant with regulatory frameworks.

Your responsibilities
- Design and deploy IAM solutions using platforms like SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID
- Implement and manage RBAC and ABAC policies aligned with business requirements
- Oversee user access lifecycle management (provisioning, modification, deprovisioning)
- Conduct access reviews and remediate over-privileged accounts
- Integrate IAM systems with applications and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues
- Document IAM architecture, policies, and runbooks

Must-haves
- 3+ years hands-on experience with IAM platforms or identity solutions
- Strong understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and access control models
- Experience with user provisioning and lifecycle management
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
- Ability to communicate security requirements to technical and non-technical teams
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with privileged access management (PAM) or secrets management
- Exposure to cloud identity services (Azure AD, AWS IAM)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
- CISSP or CISM certification
