About the assignment
A leading organisation is modernising its Identity & Access Management platform. You own the product strategy, from concept to market release, ensuring alignment with security requirements and user needs.
You balance technical complexity with business value. You work with security architects, engineers, and stakeholders to prioritise features that reduce risk while improving user experience. You translate security frameworks into actionable product requirements.
This role impacts how thousands of users authenticate, authorise, and access critical systems. Your decisions shape the organisation's zero-trust architecture.
Your responsibilities
- Define and communicate the IAM product vision, roadmap, and quarterly objectives aligned with security strategy
- Gather requirements from security teams, business units, and compliance stakeholders; prioritise features based on risk and value
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria for SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID implementations and enhancements
- Collaborate with security architects to ensure RBAC, ABAC, and JML lifecycle processes are optimised and compliant
- Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and user feedback; iterate based on data
- Manage stakeholder expectations; communicate roadmap changes, delays, and dependencies across technical and non-technical teams
- Work with development squads to unblock technical challenges and maintain delivery momentum

Must-haves
- 5+ years as Product Owner or Product Manager in infrastructure, security, or identity platforms
- Deep understanding of IAM concepts: RBAC, ABAC, authentication, authorisation, and identity lifecycle
- Experience with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of shipping products on time; ability to manage competing priorities
- Fluent in Dutch and English; comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Zero Trust or cloud IAM transformations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credential
- Background in security compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2) or regulatory projects (NIS2, GDPR)
