About the assignment
A leading organisation across multiple sectors is strengthening its IAM practice. You bridge business requirements and technical delivery, advising C-level stakeholders on identity strategy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
You own the full lifecycle: from discovery and roadmap design to vendor selection, implementation oversight, and change management. Your consultative approach ensures solutions align with business goals while meeting regulatory demands (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR).
Your impact is measurable: reduced access provisioning time, improved compliance posture, and enabled business agility through modern identity platforms.
Your responsibilities
- Design IAM architectures and identity governance roadmaps aligned with business strategy
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to identify requirements across HR, IT, security, and finance
- Evaluate and recommend IAM platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, ForgeRock)
- Lead vendor selection processes and manage RFP/RFI workflows
- Oversee implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Develop RBAC/ABAC models and JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) lifecycle policies
- Advise on compliance integration (ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC 2, GDPR requirements)
- Mentor junior consultants and transfer knowledge to internal teams

Must-haves
- 7+ years IAM consulting or implementation experience
- Deep knowledge of identity platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID)
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
- Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills
- Dutch language proficiency (written and spoken)
Nice-to-haves
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid identity environments
- Track record delivering large-scale IAM transformations (500+ users)
- Background in financial services or highly regulated industries
