About the assignment
You are the connector between security teams, IT operations, and business stakeholders in a leading energy organisation undergoing digital transformation. Identity and access management is mission-critical: you ensure seamless user provisioning, policy enforcement, and governance across the enterprise.
Your role shapes how 10,000+ employees access systems securely. You translate security requirements into functional solutions, manage the IAM lifecycle, and continuously improve access controls to stay ahead of regulatory demands and business growth.
Your responsibilities
- Design and maintain identity governance policies aligned with ISO 27001 and NIS2 requirements
- Manage user provisioning workflows, role-based access control (RBAC), and access reviews across the organisation
- Collaborate with security architects to implement attribute-based access control (ABAC) where needed
- Monitor access anomalies, investigate violations, and enforce remediation with business owners
- Document IAM processes, procedures, and audit trails for compliance and internal audits
- Support IAM platform administration and coordinate with vendors during upgrades or incidents
- Train IT teams and business stakeholders on access request procedures and security best practices

Must-haves
- 5+ years of hands-on IAM or access management experience
- Proven expertise with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID)
- Strong understanding of identity governance, RBAC, and access control policies
- Experience with ISO 27001 and/or NIS2 compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with attribute-based access control (ABAC) and dynamic provisioning
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Background in energy sector or critical infrastructure security
