Platform Engineer – Trusted Platform Services
About the assignment
A leading organisation in digital infrastructure is strengthening its Trusted Platform Services. You engineer secure-by-design platforms that meet strict compliance and security standards. Your work ensures data integrity, availability, and protection across cloud and on-premises environments.
You tackle complex challenges: hardening infrastructure, implementing zero-trust principles, and automating security controls. Your solutions directly impact organisational resilience and customer trust.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement secure platform architectures using cloud-native security patterns
- Automate security controls and compliance monitoring across infrastructure-as-code
- Build and maintain container security pipelines using Kubernetes and runtime protections
- Collaborate with security teams to define and enforce platform security policies
- Monitor platform health, incidents, and security events using SIEM and observability tools
- Conduct threat modelling and architecture reviews for new platform services
- Document security configurations and maintain runbooks for incident response

Must-haves
- 5+ years experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure)
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes and container security
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and security automation
- Solid understanding of network security, encryption, and identity management
- Proven ability to design systems meeting SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar standards
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management solutions
- Hands-on experience with Falco or runtime security tools
- Familiarity with NIST CSF or Zero Trust architecture implementations
- Contribution to open-source security projects
