Product Lead Trusted Platform Services (PAM)
About the assignment
You guide the Trusted Platform Services team at a leading European aviation organisation. The team manages access, secrets, and certificates that the entire organisation depends on. Your mission: accelerate the team through automation, standardisation, and clear service delivery.
You're responsible for evolving PAM, Secrets Management, and Certificate Management from isolated tools into cohesive platform services. This means driving the shift to platform engineering, embedding security as reliable, repeatable service for consuming teams, and maintaining quality and continuity in a business-critical domain.
You lead a technical team focused on both stability and continuous improvement. You define what success looks like, then enable your team to deliver it.
Your responsibilities
- Own the strategy and daily operations of Privileged Access Management, Secrets Management, and Certificate Management services
- Lead and develop a technical team, balancing stabilisation with feature delivery and modernisation
- Design and implement platform services with clear functionality, ownership boundaries, and end-to-end service thinking
- Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and standardisation across all three service areas
- Establish security controls and quality standards that earn trust from consuming teams
- Define service levels, handle capacity planning, and manage technical debt in a business-critical domain
- Champion the transition from tooling to platform engineering mindset within your team

Certifications (preferred)
Must-haves
- 5+ years in a technical lead or product role within security, platform, or infrastructure domains
- Direct experience managing Privileged Access Management, Secrets Management, or Certificate Management solutions in enterprise environments
- Proven ability to lead a technical team hierarchically with accountability for delivery and continuity
- Strong understanding of platform thinking, automation, self-service design, and standardisation
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear service definitions and communication for non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CyberArk, Vault, or similar PAM/Secrets platforms
- Background in infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud security teams
- Track record of transforming legacy systems into mature, self-service platform services
