Senior IAM Consultant – Identity Governance & Administration
About the assignment
You join a leading cybersecurity consultancy as a trusted advisor on identity governance and access management. Clients turn to you to architect solutions that balance security, compliance, and usability.
You assess current identity infrastructures, identify gaps against frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST, and deliver roadmaps that reduce risk. You work hands-on with SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, or Entra ID to implement role-based and attribute-based access controls.
Your impact: clients move from scattered, manual identity processes to automated, auditable governance. You enable them to meet regulatory demands while scaling securely.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct identity landscape assessments and design governance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements
- Implement JML (joiners, movers, leavers) lifecycle automation and RBAC/ABAC models
- Configure and optimise SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID, or ForgeRock deployments
- Develop identity policies, access request workflows, and segregation-of-duties rules
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align business and security on access governance
- Document solutions, train client teams, and support post-implementation optimisation
- Advise on identity risk assessment, access reviews, and compliance reporting

Certifications (preferred)
Must-haves
- 8+ years in identity and access management or cybersecurity consulting
- Hands-on experience implementing at least two major IAM platforms (SailPoint, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID)
- Deep understanding of identity governance, JML processes, and access certification
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical IAM architectures
- Strong communication skills with C-level and technical stakeholders
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with privileged access management (PAM) and cloud identity
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: NIS2, BIO 2.0, GDPR identity aspects
- Prior consulting or delivery lead experience at Big 4 or specialist firms
- Familiarity with identity governance tools beyond SailPoint/CyberArk
