About the assignment
You architect robust IAM platforms that protect organisations from unauthorised access and credential misuse. You design end-to-end identity governance solutions, from provisioning to deprovisioning, ensuring seamless user lifecycle management.
You lead technical teams through complex IAM implementations, mentor engineers, and define security standards. Your work directly impacts how organisations manage identities, control access, and maintain compliance across hybrid environments.
Your responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable IAM architecture using industry-standard platforms
- Lead technical teams in deploying identity governance and access management solutions
- Define IAM strategies, standards, and best practices across the organisation
- Manage IAM platform roadmaps, integrations, and technical debt
- Architect identity lifecycle workflows: provisioning, access reviews, deprovisioning
- Conduct threat assessments and design access controls (RBAC, ABAC) aligned to risk
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in IAM operations

Must-haves
- 8+ years in IAM architecture, design, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with at least two major IAM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Entra ID)
- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management and access control models
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex implementations
- Strong knowledge of LDAP, OAuth, SAML, and modern authentication protocols
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with privileged access management (PAM) solutions
- CISSP or CISM certification
- Background in hybrid or cloud-native IAM deployments
