About the assignment
A major organisation is modernising its identity and access management infrastructure to support digital transformation and regulatory compliance. You'll bridge business requirements and technical implementation, translating stakeholder needs into robust IAM architectures.
You'll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to design lifecycle management processes, governance models, and access control policies. Your work directly impacts how thousands of users securely access critical systems.
Your responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into IAM solutions and technical specifications
- Design identity governance models, including role hierarchies and access policies (RBAC/ABAC)
- Support implementation of IAM platforms and integrations with enterprise directories
- Develop JML (Joiner-Mover-Leaver) lifecycle processes and access request workflows
- Advise on access certification and compliance reporting for regulatory audits
- Mentor technical teams on IAM best practices and security principles
- Assess current systems and recommend modernisation roadmaps

Must-haves
- 5+ years in identity and access management or security consulting
- Hands-on experience with at least one IAM platform (SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or Entra ID)
- Strong understanding of access control models and identity governance
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with multiple IAM platforms and tools
- Background in compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, SOX)
- Familiarity with cloud identity services and hybrid environments
