OT System Administrator – Identity & Access Management
About the assignment
A leading energy organisation operates critical OT infrastructure supporting the national grid. The team is addressing technical debt across security, compliance, and management—a 12-month focused initiative.
You'll work within the OT Platforms team, collaborating with platform engineers, architects, and security specialists. Your impact: reducing risk, improving auditability, and automating manual processes in Windows and Linux environments that demand high availability and resilience.
Your responsibilities
- Clean up, standardize, and optimize Active Directory structures—removing outdated groups, accounts, and permission hierarchies
- Implement ISMS security measures and harden Windows and Linux environments according to compliance requirements
- Analyze audit findings and penetration test results, translating them into concrete remediation actions
- Establish and improve monitoring for OT platforms, ensuring events reach the Cyber Defense Center in real time
- Document and improve management processes and system configurations for long-term maintainability
- Automate recurring administration tasks using Ansible and scripting
- Collaborate with security colleagues to determine and execute measures that enhance manageability and security

Must-haves
- Completed higher professional education (HBO or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience with Active Directory and IAM principles
- Hands-on experience administering Windows and Linux systems
- Knowledge of identity & access management, hardening, and security measures
- Experience responding to audit and security findings
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Ansible automation
- Background in OT, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions and log management
