IAM Consultant (Medior)
About the assignment
You support the IAM team in designing, implementing, and optimising identity governance solutions. The organisation is modernising its access control infrastructure across multiple business units and cloud environments.
Your focus: translating business requirements into technical specifications, configuring IAM platforms, managing user provisioning workflows, and ensuring compliance with identity standards. You work closely with infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable access solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Design and configure IAM solutions using platforms like SailPoint, Okta, or Entra ID
- Manage user lifecycle processes: provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews
- Document IAM architecture, policies, and access control frameworks (RBAC/ABAC)
- Support identity governance initiatives and compliance audits
- Troubleshoot access issues and optimise IAM workflows for business units
- Collaborate with cloud teams on identity integration in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Mentor junior team members on IAM best practices

Must-haves
- 3–5 years of hands-on IAM experience (provisioning, RBAC, access reviews)
- Proficiency with at least one major IAM platform (SailPoint, Okta, or Entra ID)
- Strong understanding of identity governance, JML processes, and compliance
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, or cloud identity services
- Clear communication skills; ability to explain IAM concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with PAM solutions (CyberArk, Delinea)
- Familiarity with cloud IAM on AWS or Azure
- CISSP, CISM, or SailPoint/Okta certification
